“I ordered two tops from Debenhams, fit was not good so decided to return them on the same day they arrived. That date was 02/01/2025. Yesterday I contacted the help line for Debenhams and explained that it was 19 days since I returned these items to you and I'd heard NOTHING I have the return details to confirm this. Why do you hold on to peoples money for such a long period not only that it took me time to ask Debenhams help line for assistance as to why haven't not only acknowledged my return but also refunded me. Such a disappointment from you.”

“Horrendous service. I bought a fleece from Debenhams on the 15th December. Returned it on the 28th December and I have had no updates regarding it until 18th January today the refund has been declined with no reasoning. The return was made via their returns portal to weird fish. I now have to pay for an item I do not have. I also have another return in progress which was sent back on the 7th January, again no update what so ever. Absolutely shocking service and I am now required to provide proof of postage and return label when they provide the returns label. I will never shop with weird fish or Debenhams again.”

“Firstly I was really annoyed to receive a huge parcel containing 4items in size 14! A skirt-white blouse-black leggings -a hoodie! I ordered 3 t-shirts in size 18! I immediately tried to ring-waste of time! I then went online to a chat bot! And was told to take a picture! I was then told to take to a post office to send back!!!! The post office is 3 miles away-so 6 miles round trip!! Then I was told my items were out of stock!! I ordered and paid for them on the 23rd Dec and this was 10 days later so I was furious ! So I’m not a happy customer at all.”

“I had to return the jumper and purchase another smaller one but I have not received a refund and now have been told that the postcode on the proof of postage is wrong but it’s the same as on the returns label. Is this Weird Fish’s issue or Debenhams Whichever way I would like a refund!”

“I ordered several items in the sale which I never received. A couple of weeks later I received an email which appeared to indicate that I had returned the items and had been refunded for them. There was no explanation as to why I had not received the items. I did not re-order as I was so disappointed with the service I received.”

“Original order placed late November 2024 for Christmas. Queried whereabouts on 18/12/24 and told lost. Reordered, but of course some items no longer available. Still no tracking details on this re-order (supposedly more than 3 weeks after despatch), I doubt if its going to show up either. But of course you're desperate for rating starts, so you're looking from my opinion even before I have the goods. So no, I am not satisfied and have no confidence in your service.”
