“I am usually very happy with Weird Fish products, but the socks I bought were very disappointing and have been returned. "Size 4-7", tried on a size 6 foot, wouldn't even go over my heel because the foot section was so short, and the top so tight.”

“Refunds take forever. I returned 1 item and still haven’t had a refund despite them admitting they have had it back for a week - apparently it takes upto 2 weeks to process a return, then another few days for you to get your money. When you order you get an email purportedly from the MD telling you how good the service is, but in my opinion Weird Fish need to up their game to be considered alongside companies who really do offer good customer service.”

“I paid for a next day delivery, for a present and was assured I was before the cut off time by half an hour. So arrival by Wednesday was assured. When it did not arrive the next day I rang and was told due to “systems error”, it had not been dispatched. This was now 4pm Wednesday so too late for any chance of it arriving on Thursday. Eventually it arrived on Friday after we had left for the birthday week end. So I had to pay to post it onwards myself on Monday. So just refunding the ‘next day delivery’ surcharge, goes no way to make amends, I will not use Weird Fish again in a hurry.”

“Sadie Fairfield jumper had large snag/hole on the front. Very disappointing and returned. Paid for next postage as beanie hat for friend in hospital, took 4 days to arrive. Returned 7 days ago still waiting refund. Item returned to Boden already had email and refund posted at same time.”

“Really looked forward to receiving this coat. Ordered in two sizes to be sure of getting the length and size right. Sadly, even the larger of the two wasn't long enough. Didn't even cover my bottom, and I'm only 5'1. Wouldn't keep the rain off below that line, so sadly returned.”

“Clothing good, service and delivery rubbish. Paid for next day delivery which took almost a week. Helpline: 'there's nothing we can do now the courier has it' When Hermes finally delivered there were no 'next day' stickers on the packet and the courier said it was just a normal delivery. When asked for help, Weirdfish could have express delivered another duplicate parcel with someone like Royal Mail 24hr tracked and let me return the original when it finally arrived. But they weren't interested. I wanted part of the order to add to a wedding outfit at the last minute which is why I paid for Express. I told the helpdesk this. They were not helpful.”

“I returned both items. The jacket didn’t suit me. The dress was wrong size. The label attached was a size 12 but the dress was actually a size 18. I returned both garments on Saturday 5 September but i have not had an acknowledgement that you have received them or a refund”

“I have a Weird Fish account with eight or more orders showing for the last two years. My last order has an address query," no house number" the order is static after doing the rounds (Hermes trial).Royal Mail site, name plus post code will produce full address. Logistics professionals take note.Still no show.”

“I like Weird fish stuff but sadly the medium tops I (medium was the size their app recomended) bought had to be returned as they were for people with weirdly long arms and a 57cm chest? They did not seem interested so I returned the Newark tops and requested a refund, sadly will not use again. Still waiting for refund.”

“Always happy with my purchases from weird fish. Had an issue with delivery recently but this problem was soon resolved and has not put me off ordering from weird fish. Great quality and good fitting size from weird fish as always .”

“Dear Weird Fish ... it really is pretty and I LOVE Fairisle... BUT.... the 100% man-made fibers feel horrible on my skin.... it literally makes my skin crawl. Why don't you tell your designers to use at least a 40% cotton blend. The cardigan is stunning but feels unbearable after only a few minutes. :(”
