“I would love to write a review of the item I ordered from Weird Fish Ltd but, unfortunately, the item received was very different from the item ordered. I ordered a size 12 top from you but the item received was an extra-large sweatshirt with a 'Simpsons' design. I therefore returned this item to you and have since ordered and received the correct item from your 'Amazon' shop at the same price. However, I am still awaiting a refund for the original item which I hope you will expedite at your earliest convenience.”

“I'll be completely honest. It was the end of a long week. I'd been sitting in the evening sunshine drinking spiced rum. For a while. On an empty stomach. A Weird Fish advert popped up on Instagram. There was a sale on. Of course there was a sale on. I don't think they even allow you to advertise on Insta if there isn't some sort of sale or a special offer because it's Summer or Halloween or Tuesday. I was familiar with Weird Fish only because some of their stuff filters into the glorified rummage sale that is TK Maxx and it had looked quite good even alongside the ridiculously priced designer labels. Well, I thought (or possibly the rum thought), I need some nice stuff and it's got free returns and there's no harm looking and I deserve a treat and oh look my last ice cube has melted. A hop, skip and a browse later and I'd bought a linen shirt, chinos and a polo shirt. The clothes arrived in two different deliveries on different days, but in fairness the delivery agent had informed me of that after the order was placed. Two plastic postal bags of goodies were deposited at my house and, if I'm honest, I half expected them to hold the clothes hastily sealed into smaller plastic bags and hurled into a postbag. I was fully expecting to rue my alcohol-fuelled spontaneity of a few days earlier. In fact each item was immaculately folded and packaged. The shirt even had crepe paper protecting each button. The fabrics of each item felt high quality and they had decent weight to them, dispelling my fear that, like some online retailers, they made their money by shipping gossamer-thin garments that looked good online but would fall apart in a stiff breeze. Overall I was delighted and would highly recommend shopping at Weird Fish whilst mildly inebriated. The rum, should you care to know, was Dead Man's Fingers Golden Spiced.”
