Purchased the Malmo skirt in denim and very pleased with it as a casual daywear item. Material is a soft jersey and length is just below my knee at 5’7. The waist band is unusual but you do soon get used to it - I purchased two of these skirts last summer and I fold the waist band over to make it thinner. I find the sizing to be slightly smaller do go up a size - I don’t like the skirts to fit tight around my tummy in the hot weather. This also enables the rest of the skirt to be nice and flippy.
