I bought a Macaroni jacket a few weeks ago but returned it because the fabric was not what I expected. I have a couple of other Macaroni jackets but they are now quite old. The fabric used for the old items is soft and flexible. The fabric used for the item I recently purchased is quite different - possibly a different composition and definitely a difference "weave", with a much "harder" feel. Also, the binding tape at the end of the sleeves is totally inflexible which make turning up the cuffs almost impossible. A great shame that you have changed things.
